In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an unique katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
